Comics Club at Surrey Downs Community Centre

Through a series of hands-on workshops, you’ll learn how to create your own mini-comic or zine using engaging storytelling techniques. Each session will build on the last, covering everything from character design and comic layout to zine formats and DIY publishing. But you can just attend of the sessions as a standalone workshop too.

Session 1: Wednesday 12 November, 4:30pm-5:30pm - Developing Characters
Session 2: Wednesday 19 November, 4:30pm-5:30pm - Creating Comics
Session 3: Wednesday 26 November, 4:30pm-5:30pm - Bookmaking Techniques

Bring: Just your fine self, all materials are provided.

Bookings: Will be available shortly through the Tea Tree Gully website.

Access: I try to make all my workshops as accessible as possible (I myself am autistic) but please let me know at the beginning of the workshop if you have any access needs and I’ll try my best to support them.
