Once Upon a Festival 2025

Immanuel College, in collaboration with Immanuel Primary School, is proud to be hosting it’s fifth South Australian school based literary festival from the 30th to the 31st of October 2025 to which South Australian Primary and Secondary schools from all sectors are invited to participate.

I’ll be running some a few Comics Basics workshops as part of the Once Upon a Festival program (under my art name: George Rex).

Ages: 7-17 years old

Venue: Youth Space, Burnside Civic Centre, 401 Greenhill Riad, Tusmore

Dates: 31 October 2025

Times:
Workshop 1 - 9:15am - 10:15am
Workshop 2 - 10:30am - 11:30am
Workshop 3 - 12:00pm - 1:00pm

Bring: Just your fine self, all materials are provided.

Cost: $15

Access: I try to make all my workshops as accessible as possible (I myself am autistic) but please let me know at the beginning of the workshop if you have any access needs and I’ll try my best to support them.
